Deutsch für Studenten
Our intensive language course consists of 240 teaching units (One unit =45 minutes), with seven units daily from Monday to Friday. Course duration is seven weeks.
During this time participants will have:
- an extensive overview of German grammar together with a diverse vocabulary will be conveyed
- an introduction and insight into German customs and etiquette.
- a walk around the university campus and its vicinity
- Small excursions to nearby markets and stores
- a tour of the historical city centre of Duisburg
These things will not only be useful for your complete study period in Germany, but will serve you well in everyday life and integration into German society. Instruction and learning during this intensive language course is practice oriented, i.e. “Learning by Doing” with dialogues, language and survival phrases that are used and implemented in everyday real life situations. We will support you as much as possible in order to get settled into Duisburg and Germany.
For a one time fee of €50, we will support you in dealing with authorities, making appointments with the Immigration and Foreign Office and will provide you with useful advise regarding health insurance, bank accounts, telephone contracts, etc.
